Perhaps a little color would help open up - rather than segment - you room.
Perhaps a little color would help open up – rather than segment – your room.

Question.

I want to paint my bedroom. It is very small what are some good color choices to maybe open the room up or so it doesn’t feel as small? Thanks!

Answer.

If you would like a small room to appear larger, you have a few options. You may want to consider a light color and carry that throughout the whole room (perhaps even on the ceiling). The less contrasts you have, the better the room will flow. Another option could be to paint vertical stripes on the wall. This will help add visual height to your room.
